Phil Guidotti, Registered Nurse

Approach

Most of my healthcare career has consisted of acute care in the hospital setting as a registered nurse. Hospital work trained me well in the areas of problem recognition, emergency response, time management, and customer service. While I appreciate the lessons and support I’ve received during my hospital career, I always yearned to work in a setting that strives to address the root causes of chronic disease and to treat the whole person in body, mind, and spirit. This yearning drew me to Siskiyou Vital Medicine (SVM), where our providers practice prevention, wellness, and holistic care.

At SVM I work alongside our providers with treatments that support the body’s natural healing process. I am honored to serve you as you work toward optimizing your health, happiness, and vitality.

Background

I moved to Medford as a child in 1988 and have lived most my life here ever since. While a student at North Medford High, I experienced frequent and severe throat pain caused by acid reflux episodes. I went on medication to block acid production in my stomach, which stopped the symptoms without addressing the root cause of my disease. Later on in college, I began working with naturopathic doctors and rekindled my hope for a cure. Empowered by their teaching, guidance, and encouragement, I cured my disease through dietary and lifestyle changes, and in the process developed a lifelong trust and appreciation for natural medicine.
