Who is it for?
Our aesthetic treatments are ideal for people who want natural, regenerative results that support long-term skin health. If you prefer subtle improvement, medically guided care, and an approach that considers your whole body rather than isolated symptoms, you will feel right at home here.

This may be a good fit if you want to:
- Refresh your skin without looking overdone
- Support healthy collagen production
- Reduce fine lines, scars, or uneven texture
- Address sun damage or discoloration
- Improve skin vitality while also caring for your overall health
- Work with a licensed physician who evaluates hormonal, nutritional, and lifestyle factors
- Choose treatments that complement healing rather than override it
Why Choose Regenerative Aesthetics?
Regenerative aesthetics focus on helping your skin heal, repair, and thrive from the inside out. Instead of relying on quick fixes, this approach works with your body to improve collagen production, circulation, and tissue health.
Treatments like microneedling, platelets, and plasma skin regeneration, work with your biology rather than forcing dramatic changes. They support long-term skin health, improve resilience, and help restore a naturally vibrant appearance.
This approach is especially supportive for sensitive skin or complex health histories, since your care is personalized and informed by hormone balance, nutrition, gut health, and other root factors that influence the way your skin ages and repairs.
Why Patients Love
Physician-Led Aesthetics
Patients who choose physician-led aesthetic care consistently report safety and satisfaction as top reasons for their decision.
With physician-led aesthetics you get:
- Lower risk of complications
- Better overall outcomes and satisfaction
- Access to full medical oversight and personalized care
- More rigorous standards and training

Does microneedling hurt?
Most patients describe microneedling as mildly uncomfortable rather than painful. At our clinic, we use a medical-grade topical anesthetic before treatment so the skin is fully numbed. Without it, the procedure would sting and feel quite intense. During the session you may feel light pressure, vibration, or a scratching sensation. Some pinpoint bleeding is normal and expected, since the treatment works by creating controlled micro-injuries that stimulate healing. Afterward, the skin often feels warm or tight for a day or two, similar to a mild sunburn.
Is Neogen PSR safe for my skin type?
One of the most important advantages of Neogen PSR is that it is safe for all skin types and skin tones, including darker Fitzpatrick types that cannot safely undergo many laser procedures. Neogen uses nitrogen plasma energy, which treats the skin in a controlled, uniform way without the risks of pigment changes that traditional lasers can trigger.
At SVM, safety goes even further because every treatment is physician-guided. Before recommending Neogen, we review your:
- Skin type and sensitivity
- History of hyperpigmentation
- Medical conditions and medications
- Recent sun exposure
- Healing tendencies
This makes the results more predictable. If Neogen isn’t the ideal fit for your skin, we’ll help you find an option that is.
How long do results last?
Results vary depending on the treatment, your skin health, and how well you care for your skin afterward. Here’s a general guide:
- Microneedling: Improvements in texture, tone, and firmness typically last several months. Many people choose a series of treatments followed by 1–2 maintenance sessions per year.
- Platelets & Exosomes: Because these stimulate deeper regenerative processes, results can last longer and continue to improve over time.
- NeoGen PSR: Results build gradually and can last up to a year or more, especially after a full treatment series.
- Botox: Results typically last 3–4 months and gradually fade, allowing for adjustments over time.
Good skincare habits, sun protection, hydration, and overall wellness help maintain results. Treatments last longest when they’re paired with healthy sleep, nutrition, and stress support.
How do I know which treatment is right for me?
We start with a clinical skin evaluation to understand your skin biology, goals, and overall health. From there, we recommend only what truly fits your needs. Every plan is personalized, safe, and designed to support long-term skin health rather than one-size-fits-all results.
What’s the downtime?
Microneedling: You may look pink or sunburned for 24–48 hours. Most people return to normal activities the next day, avoiding makeup and sun exposure for a short time.
Microneedling with Platelets or Exosomes: Redness may last a bit longer since the treatment is more active, but recovery is still typically under 72 hours.
Neogen PSR: Downtime varies by treatment strength. Light treatments have minimal social downtime, while deeper sessions may require several days of visible healing.
Botox: No real downtime. You can return to normal activities right away, with only minor redness at injection sites that fades quickly.
Are treatments safe for all skin types?
Our regenerative aesthetic treatments are designed to be safe and effective for all skin types and tones. Because they work with your body’s natural healing processes rather than using harsh heat or aggressive chemicals, the risk of pigmentation issues or scarring is much lower than with many conventional cosmetic procedures.
Your provider will still tailor your plan to your unique skin biology to ensure the best and safest outcome.
How do I prepare for my appointment?
Come with clean skin, free of makeup, sunscreen, or skincare products. Avoid retinoids, exfoliants, and harsh actives for at least 48 hours beforehand. If you’re doing microneedling, avoid blood-thinning medications or supplements unless prescribed. Stay well-hydrated, and let us know about any recent procedures, medications, or changes in your health so we can tailor your treatment safely.
Do I need to be an SVM member?
Our aesthetic services are open to everyone. You don’t need a membership to schedule treatments, consultations, or skin assessments.
