Acute Care Needs

If you are a member and have any acute needs outside of office hours, call Siskiyou Vital Medicine right away and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

If you need acute care during office hours, call us and we will do our best to get you an appointment the same day. This is one of the benefits our members have. If you are not a member you can join us here!

Appointment Wait Times

Wait time for members to be seen by their primary care provider is a couple days to two weeks, unless they have an acute need, in which case we do our best to schedule them for the same day.

Wait time for non-members to be seen by one of our healthcare providers is 3-4 weeks.

New members are scheduled for an appointment with their healthcare provider after signup within 1-3 weeks as space becomes available.

Being On Time For Your Appointment

This way any necessary paperwork can be completed before you meet with your healthcare provider.

If you are late, even if it is only one minute, you need to reschedule. This ensures that our healthcare providers have the full appointment time with their patients and are not rushed through it, which guarantees the high quality of care you are accustomed to as well as a relaxed, comfortable environment.

Customer Messages

Members can send secure customer messages through their Elation Passport portal to communicate directly with their healthcare provider. Any non-urgent messages will be answered within three business days. If you have an urgent need, please call or text our clinic right away and we will get you taken care of as soon as possible!

Healthcare Provider Not Available

It occasionally happens that your primary care provider (PCP) is out of office. If you need medical care during that time, we will schedule you with one of our other providers. Just text, call or email and we will take care of you!

Medication Refills

We are happy to get your prescriptions refilled. Please know that we do our best to get this taken care of as quickly as we can. We customarily need 5-7 business days to ensure that all refills are processed in a timely manner, so please let us know ahead of time when you’re about 2 weeks from running out of medication. Please first contact your pharmacy to inquire whether you have additional refills left, and if not, please ask the pharmacy to send us a refill request.
